RF Tether in '01 Escape
I am totally clueless when it comes to the rear tether and I need some help please. DD is in a comfort sport right now, but will be in a como as long as I like DS's that is preordered. I am going to sound really silly and that is why I need help. Up until coming here I thought that to rear tether your car had to have a designated thing installed. But now I understand that you can tether to pretty much anything bolted down, is that right? If it isn't please educate me as I am pretty confused. Next I was wondering if anyone has experience w/RF tether in a 2001 Escape. Thank you in advance

Re: RF Tether in '01 Escape
I have a 2001 Escape and I have a Roundabout rf tethered right now. I tether it to either the front passenger seat or the drivers seat. The seat anchors are bolted to the frame of the car and they make a perfect place to tether. The tether does not interfere with at all with the movement of the seats. Any seat that rf tethers should come with a d-ring, which is a piece of webbing(tether material) with a metal ring on one end. You loop this around the front seat anchor and you have an anchor.

Re: RF Tether in '01 Escape
Just wanted to make sure that you know you can not tether the Comfort Sport rearfacing. I know you said you wanted to do it with the Como, but I just wanted to clarify in case.
