Question About Chase Booster Car Seat

Hi, I have a question about the seat my mom has in her car for my DS. It is an Evenflo Chase. I am wondering if it is OK to use the top slots or if those are only for booster (if that even makes sense). Thank you in advance.

Re: Question About Chase Booster Car Seat

Yes you can use the top harness slots on the Evenflo Chase. In booster mode you wouldn't be using the harness at all just the seat belt and the seat belt guides.

It is the AO/AOE that you can't use the top slots except for in booster mode and that is because you don't re-thread the harness everytime you need to move the harness up. You pull a bar at the back and then move up the whole head rest position giving it different slots for the harness and the very top one is for the booster as once the child ears are even with the top of the seat then you need to get a different seat. So pretty much that top slot is just for added height for booster mode.
