OMG...cant believe what i just heard!

I just picked up DD and saw one of the teachers visibly upset. So I ask if she is OK and she said that yesterday one of the students' Dad's was driving home from work and saw a 2 or 3 year old hanging out of the window of the vehicle. Apparently the child fell out and died!!! She said the child was not restrained at all! I cant understand how a person can just put such little value on their child's life. I am just so sad. Parents like that should be arrested, IMO.

Just today I saw one of Leila's friend's mom drag her tiny 4 year old son to the car, *toss* him in the back seat & speed off -- no booster, no seatbelt.... I didn't have my cell phone on me to call the police

I picked up my Niece for the first time at Kindergarten the other day as a favor to my brother. He was covered in Drywall Mud so I grabbed her Extra Parkway booster and buckled it in my truck than off DD and I went. I parked my truck on a side street and we walked to her classroom to pick her up.

I saw so many parents pull into the parking lot and pick up their kids, They would just pull up and the kid would get in and the mom would leave no seat belt no car seat no booster nothing. This is a very wealthy area. All the homes in the area are $1 million + homes. I dont get it. Mercedes or not buckle you kid in $$$ wont save their lives.

It was so sad to see.
