How about a multi-quote feature?

Mothering has a little button that allows you to select multiple posts to quote so that you don't have to post multiple times. I reallllllly like it

Re: How about a multi-quote feature?

have you ever seen the feature anywhere? I dont think I have. It would be cool! but it probably would be too much work and I think the forum is a template, so he probably cant recode it himself.

One good way is to use the quote button above and just copy and paste into it from a following post.

Re: How about a multi-quote feature?

That is a great idea if it would work

I too use the quote button and then copy and paste it from the following post, usually when I do this I have two windows open although you wouldn't have to

Re: How about a multi-quote feature?

There is a multi-quote feature. It is currently disabled because some of the alternate skins are broken with that feature. I'm waiting for some free skins made for this version of the software that include the multi-quote button.

Re: How about a multi-quote feature?

Yeah, mothering.com uses this same type of messageboard and they've got it.

Cool to know the status here
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it becomes possible soon

Re: How about a multi-quote feature?

I have re-enabled the multi-quote feature. As a fix, I copied over the standard multiquote buttons to the other skins. So, if you are using a color scheme other than the Car-Seat.Org Forums Default Style, the multiquote buttons may not match. A small price to pay for convenience?

Hey, that's pretty cool!
I also see you put the standard smilies beside the text box so it isn't really flashy
