Mine did that for awhile when I first got it. Then it seemed to stop.. But some of you didn't notice much at all. So I'll check it again when DH gets home with the car. But I am having issues with it tightening all the way. When I try to tighten the last inch or so of slack out.. it is super hard, sometimes I can't.

Everyone that IS having this problem... could you post your Radian's DOM please?

The one I have used to do it, sometimes. But I don't think it was every time. And it's a 9/09 I think.

I called back today and talked to russ. He is sending out a new seat and having me return mine. Hopefully they at least put out a notice that this is happening and to be aware.

I have a radian 65 dom 05/09.

Mine was XTSL and 9/09

I forgot when I talked to him he did say something along the lines of look at it to be sure it isn't an issue that warrants a recall so at least he seems to be thinking along those lines, making sure everything is completely safe

My 80sl does this and is was also manufactured 9/09. I thought it was just a fluke because it doesn't happen every time. But now that I see there is actually a problem I will be calling first thing in the morning. Thanks so much for posting this.

I just ran out to the car and checked mine really quick. 12/09 DOM and it doesnt appear to have a problem but I'm going to look a bit more in the morning, and check again after I've seen the video.

I really think this needed to be repeated, again!
Please Please Please report these problems, there could be a lot of people out there with this issue that don't realize its a problem. I have been hearing about this same issue on another car seat board. A recall may need to be issued and for that people need to report the problem!!!
