Tether anchor in 2000 Town and Country

Does anyone know where the anchor is for the 2nd row (captain chairs) in a 2000 Chrysler T&C? I was trying to install my nephews seat for my parents and couldn't find it anywhere. The manual says that it has them but doesn't say where.

Perhaps the owner's manual is referring to where the top tether anchors can be retrofitted? That's the case for the LATCH manual's entry for the Chrysler 2000 Town and Country when viewed in its entirety. :) While the LATCH manual indicates the tether anchor points are on the floor for the 2000 Chrysler Town and Country in the notes column, that's indicating where top tether anchor parts can be retrofitted, not where they are already factory equipped. The part numbers are also listed in the LATCH manual's entry for the 2000 T&C for doing the tether anchor retrofit: 04864118AB for each second row seating position, and 05018506AA for each third row seating position. A Chrysler dealership should provide the retrofit parts and their installation labor free of charge, and you'll need to refer the dealership to Chrysler Technical Service Bulletin Number 23-029-08 for details on this policy. The dealer can also find additional information in the Warranty Information Center (WIC) article #1339. :thumbsup:

I'll check my owner's manual to see how it's worded - I drive a 2000 Dodge Caravan (same thing, different name). Trust me - there are no tether anchors pre-installed. The 2001, on the other hand, has LATCH in all positions.
