Pictures-- slot measurements

I know we have been discussing slot measurements for:

1) Infant seats (Primo Viaggio, especially)
2) Boulevard vs. Marathon vs. Decathlon
3) Apex 65

Soooo, I went to BRU this morning armed with a measuring tape and a camera. I wish I had brought my good camera (DSLR), but the point-and-shoot camera was good enough to get some measurement photos of some infant seats and of the Apex. I didn't get any photos of the Britax convertibles slot measurements today. I will do that another day.

Enjoy!! :)

I know these are not the "best" photos and that some of the measurements are hard to see. Sorry!!!

I did NOT push down the cover when measuring, so the measurements are a little bit off. Sorry.

Here is the Cosco Apex 65:

No. None of them are pushing on the seat to compress the cushion.

I put that note in my second post, but I will go back and edit it so it shows up better. I am afraid that it gets lost.

I forgot the photo of the Key Fit.

This is measured WITH the infant padding in and WITHOUT pushing down on the seat. Sorry about that!

The Baby Trend one has an adjustable back, so that was the lowest setting you showed? I know with our seat it had SEVEN (!!!!) slot heights. SEVEN! For an INFANT!

LOL!

Yes, that was the lowest on the seat I had in front of me.

The guy at BRU said there is a lower setting, but we couldn't get it any lower. I tried two different seats and that was the lowest I could get it. :)

And most moms I know, even with small babies, had to dial it up about 4 notches to bring the baby home from the hospital :)
All seats should be that adjustable (if not Boulevards...)... wistful sigh...

:)

We had ours on the lowest setting and it was too high when we brought Sanna home.

How did you find the pink safeseat? Not that i'm planning on having a bambino at all, but I have an obsession with pink car seats and I adore the SafeSeat. I might buy it as a baby shower present for a friend of mine!!!

I think I took these pictures at the Sterling BRU??? I think....

I'd love to meet you at Bailey's sometime!! I actually live closest to the Chantilly one, but Bailey's isn't far. I am constantly going between the three. :)
