Awesome! I'm so glad you finally found something you like that works for you. It really looks like a Mei Tai. I wonder how it is different (or if it IS different, lol.)

Awesome! I'm so glad you found one that will work for you. It looks like a mei tai. Have you tried one of those before? Is that the pattern you got? I like it.

on their website it looks like you can have her facing out, too. I like the loops to guide the straps, too.

eta: lol, hsjwmom. we cross posted almost the the exact same thing. :p

I really like the strap guides. That is one thing I find kind of annoying with my mei tai, the strap slips up (and therefore loosens) some times when I tie it behind baby's back.

agree with all the above. Bring on the pics.
I like my new Beco except River cannot face out in it. She hates not being able to see the world.

I agree. Gave up on the Mei Tai 'cause my baby almost fell out because the straps were sliding up and I didn't even notice. That was the first and last time I used it. The strap guides are a great idea.

Man, that looks cool! I don't normally like the tie style, but if I'd known about that one I may have tried that before the Beco. I like that you can face them outward - DD liked being able to look around.

I got the pattern shown in that ebay auction. The other one they had was black. I figured it had to be a knock off of some really good carrier when it worked out so well.

Oh and tie guides must have been a last minute add-on because in all of the pictures of it being used on the website and on the box, they are PSPed in!

I shipped my Beco back.

And I will try to get pictures, but my cordless remote is not working right now. I guess I could always just do snapshots with the mirror huh?

DD is a little too small to see out but she loves to sit and lick my chest  and blow bubbles on it. When I took her off at Costco yesterday I had this huge drool ring on my shirt collar! I'm sure the other customers wondered wtf was up with me. I tried her facing out as well and she thought that was so cool.

I love, love, love it. :D I will get pics when I can, she is still asleep at 10:44am! Obviously not a morning person.

Put them on your back.....Its not proper positioning to face them out. It does not support the proper curve of their spine or hips

Thanks for that link - great info I never knew about. I do carry on my back now, but when she was younger she was trying to turn around a lot in the Beco.

Cordelia LOVES to be on my back. I carry her back there for the most part. Its especially helpful when she wants up, and I'm cooking or something....where i need to have use of my hands...lol

Aw man! I just spent $99 on a Babyhawk, which I like fine, but I like the price of the Infantino more! And the tie guides look nice.

River HATES being on my back and doesn't always like to face me. She wants to look around. So on days she is cranky and won't face me I use the Moby and face her out.

The article is interesting, ecspecially about the stoller usage here in Europe. I have had several German mommies tell me I should lay River down in a German stroller so her body doesn't get over stimulated. I just nod and move on. LOL.

Still waiting on those pictures.
