Re: sunshine kids radian xtls

The rear facing weight limit for the Scenera is 35 pounds, unless you're in Canada.

The height limit is the same as all other rear facing seats (except for the Complete Air). When there's less than 1" of shell above the head the seat is outgrown.

At 32 pounds you could get a regular Radian65 that has a 40 pound rear facing limit. It should be less than $200. That would do your daughter quite well. She doesn't need a 45 pound rear facing limit since she's pretty light.

The Safety 1st Complete Air has a tall shell and a 40 pound rear facing weight limit, is priced comparably with the Radians, and fits much more upright and so isn't as big front to back as the Radians.

I just installed the XTLS in my Sienna Van and it is an amazing seat. Was worth ever penny. My 3 year old out grew her Britax in the height. I am buying a second XTLS for my Solara convertible as it fit well in it as well.

Sorry to hijack- what Britax was outgrown and how much more space does she have in the Radian?
