Can't find info on EuroVan
We are interested in the Euro Van by Volkswagon as a modest camping vehicle. It is not too big, has sleeping for 4 (pop top and bench=bed) and has ok (tho not great) gas mileage (17-21mpg). However, we cannot find any info on crash tests. The European test results were vague.
There are also "Sportsmobiles" which seem to be larger vans that have 4WD, beds, fridge, stove, etc. But also -- no crash test results. Any suggestions on where to go when results are not available? Maybe other readers have leads or experiences. |

You might want to try the nhtsa web site.

euorvan thoughts
if yours has the rearfacing back seats....carseat manufacturers don't recommending using child restraints in them because they haven't been crash tested that way, even though we know from crash data that in theory, rearfacing is safer for everyone....
