Rf radian in newer Equinox

We're renting a Chevy Equinox and will be taking our rxt to put in it. Since it's a rental it should be fairly new, I'd guess 2015? Can I install the radian without the AA and still have room for us in the front seat? I'm trying to not have to bring it. We're driving a lot so we need to be comfortable. Any seat location in the back is fine.

The middle with the armrest restrained and with the seatbelt would be your best bet.

But I'd probably toss the AA in a suitcase.

Armrest? In the car or the thigh things on the seat?

He's going to be in it on the plane so we can use it there correct? Or is the AA not allowed on the plane? Considering just FF him on the plane also and putting the boot and the AA in the luggage.

If you rear face on the plane you'll need the AA, and a seatbelt extender.

Forward facing if the seat was made after 12/4/14 you'll need the forward facing recline out, and if your child is under 40 pounds you'll need the SafeStop. Plus move the harness.

The armrest for the car. There should be a strap in the glove box to restrain it. If it's not there, you can't rear face in the middle.
