Question HELP! Britax Blvd 70 G3 in 2011 Honda Crv

I am a huge advocate of rear-facing for as long as possible, but to my dismay my 2.5 year old son has outgrown the rear-facing height limit in his Boulevard 70 G3. His head is almost level with the shell.

Two questions:

1. In turning it forward facing, I'm having issues with the angle seeming right. I know you have to have it completely upright to forward face. I just can't seem to get it right. Does anyone here have a Boulevard G3 forward facing in a Honda CRV? How does it fit? Does it hang off the seat a little?

2. Should I go to the new click-tight Britax since the head rest is reinforced and allows for longer rear-facing? Or should I go with a diono radian? Something else? I need something easy to install that won't take up too much space.

Thank you!

When you say even with the shell, do you mean even if you sat a book on top of his head, or even as in there's less than an inch of shell visible above his head? Alot of times people are confused by what "an inch of shell above head" means.

Forward facing you can use recline position one or two. Two is so close to one that it's hard to find.

It is allowed to hang off, but I can't imagine it will in your car. It should fit.

Don't forget to top tether.

Another taller seat would be great if you can afford it, though. That way you can rear face longer, which is ideal. If the ClickTights are out of your budget, there are seats that cost less that are far taller than the Britax you have. If you'd like recommendations.
