Booster for traveling 34 lb/40 in?

DD is 34 lbs and 40 or 41 in naked, 4y 11m. We're flying next week, connecting flights, and I REALLY don't want to lug her Radian again. Last time I literally had bruises from the straps and I'm fairly certain I left a few more people bruised in my wake. What are your thoughts on a Turbo for that size/age kid? It's worth noting that we will be taking a 3 hour trip, once we're there, but she does stay in position well.
TIA for your thoughts!

For a kid that size/age, I think I'd get a Maestro or even a Chase. Or maybe a Sureride. Aside from the fact that she sounds like she's not booster trained, hauling a booster on a flight is much more annoying than a harnessed seat that can be used on the flight.

I personally feel 5yrs & 40lbs is the bare minimum for boosters. I'd bring a harnessed seat for her.

Have you tried strapping the seat to a luggage cart? That worked very well for us when we traveled with a Sureride and Maestro.

Yeah, I was totally happy flying with the Radian, but I didn't carry it! It easily rolled down the aisle on a cross-country flight (so large jet, but not huuuuge jet). I like that it's easy to sit next to and that the tray table can easily be used forward facing.

But I'd do a lighter weight harnessed seat if the weight bugs you. I wouldn't put a kid that small in a booster.
