I can't really see the details, such as the level line. How is it installed, LATCH? In what vehicle? Is it touching the front seat, and if so, how hard? Does it move at the belt path?

It is a Suzuki SX4 it is install with latch, it is touching the seat but not with force or bracing just touching, it doesn't move at all, the line it's almost level, baby is 5 months old.
The seat came with a base but my friend who gave me the seat had issues installing the seat with the base so I called dorell and they seat the seat can be use RF only without the base.

The noodles look like they are pretty far away from the seat bight. Is the seat still within it's useful life? I thought the removeable base 3in1s were all pretty much done now.

It expires in 2018, I don't remember where but I had seen it in stores last year

The towel is tight but someone said it look like it was to close to the seat bight

Someone said it looked too far from the seat night. Hard to tell from the picture. I'd reroll the towel, tape it, and reinstall the seat. Make sure the towel is I close to the night, with the feet of the car seat propped on it.

Hopefully my friend will bring me the base tomorrow and I will try with the base to see if I can get a good installation with that, if not I went to the store and got the pool noodle

Ok, so My friend didn't find the base.... so my question is if it is really safe to use without the base, I was the one who called dorell and they said yes but I am having issues adjusting the harness because is line the towel is too close to the harness underneath the seat and is pinching them, so when I am pulling the harness it gets kind of like stuck. I got the pool noodle but don't know if that will fix it. Any help?

Try using pool noodles, and make sure they're under the foot of the seat, not in the curve/ empty space in front of the foot and under baby.
