Is there a hotline in SC?

I have been searching, and have not found anything yet. I was reading another poster's question and have taken note of the Illinois(or was it Indiana) number, but I'd really like to get a hotline started here in SC if there is not one. Does anyone have any ideas or resources that I can access for info.? Also, where could I get my hands on some pamphlets or something that I could leave on a car. Lately I have seen SO many unrestrained children in my area! The other day I saw a woman driving into the parking lot at Target with her 6-8 mo. old baby on her lap! I just stood there with my mouth open. A few minutes later she came into the store with the baby in a baby bjorn! I would be willing to bet $$ that she had been across the very busy street/4 lane highway and just needed to "run across to Target". I was so upset, but didn't know what to say!

Hi-

Some ideas-

First, call the lines in other states and report your own plate number. Then see if you get a response. That will tell you if you can use them for out-of-state vehicles and you will get a copy of their pamphlets, too.

If you would like to talk to someone involved with the Illinois program, simply dial the number ( http://www.car-safety.org/driver.html ) and ask for someone to call you about it.
