Is it a problem if the seatbelt folds over?

I got a super good deal on a SN35 click connect so I thought I would try it in the middle center seat of our 12 oddy. It goes in nice and tight, but to get it that way, the lap portion of of the lap/shoulder belt folds over on itself about a half inch. I can get the lock off closed, but I wasn't sure if this is an acceptable install.

Has anyone else installed a click connect there? Are there tricks that I am missing? Should I just return the seat for something else?

I really dislike the hook style latch that is on this seat. To me it is not worth the struggle to get them unlatched, so I always check to make sure I can get a good seatbelt install if I have a seat that has the hook style latch connectors.

Seatbelt with a lock off especially on an infant seat base is easy. I always installed my SR35 with SB because it took less effort than unhooking the UAS lol

oh I know it's easy :) just was curious on her reasoning. The anchors in that spot are really nice and easy to get at once you pop the covers off but some people aren't aware you have to take them off :D

Thanks for checking! I didn't try the latch anchors with this seat because of getting them unhooked, but we have used the anchors with a different seat we were thinking about.

I am thinking I might return the seat anyhow. I really want the Pipa! Since we don't really need anything else for this baby I think I may splurge!
