Flying...UGG

Thinking a head. We may be flying. It would be a direct flight and rent a car on the other end. First flight airport is small so carrying car seats through won't be an issue, but second airport is a big one. That car is unknown at this point, but I'm sure it won't be economy or compact. I have 2 in seats, both FFing. Seats we have are 2 FR85s, 2 FR90s, 2 CA65s, a Radian, and a RA50. Which would you take. We have a Joovy sit and stand we'll be taking. And I also have this. We will check 2-3 large bags. Carry ons are the kids Trunki's and DH and I will both have a backpack.

No experience flying with any of these, but if I were you I'd either take the 2 CA 65's so they have the same seat, or the Radian and a CA65. With the travel cart the weight of the Radian probably isn't a concern, but then one child would be able to drop the tray and the other may not (not sure if the CA65 is low enough for tray use). Not sure how that would go over with your kids. I'm just assuming here that you aren't checking either seat.

No no checking. My 3 year old NEEDS a harness to keep her in on spot and my 5 year old is SNs and the harness comforts him. Also after watching baggage handlers just throw car seats and one fall off the belt going into the plane. Nope not going to check them.

I agree with either both CA's or one CA & the Radian. The Radian & CA might be easier to fit side by side on the plane, and like PP said then you could put at least one of the lap tables down. They could probably be stacked either on the stroller or luggage cart to get them through the airport. Just practice taking them apart and putting them back together so you don't feel flustered at security. And don't worry, when we were dealing with littler kids and actual carseats on the plane we checked everything possible, only carried on the seats and a backpack or two for what we needed on the flight.
