SO we have a 2007 Chevy aveo that we just got in November. My son is 6.5 months and about 15 lbs 28 inches (tall and skinny). He's still in his Graco Snug ride but is going to hit the height limit soon. We also found out we are pregnant again and due in November. I tried buying a radian b/c I heard how great they are and that they are really skinny and can fit 3 across in most vehicles. But it wouldn't fit with out interfering with the passenger seat having to be moved ahead alot.....We're going to need two convertible carseats one for behind the drives seat and one the passengers in not too long so whatever carseat we choose will have to work for both. Also my husband is 6'4" so he can't really move the drivers seat ahead.
Any help from someone who has an aveo or has put carseats in one on what to buy?? I'm really wishing we had bought a van !! lol
Thanks !

I don't have experience with an Aveo, but I've put a Recaro Signo & an Evenflo Triumph Advance in both a Focus & a Corolla. In either car the seat must be slightly forward for a full newborn recline...I'd think someone up to 5'8" or so could sit in front of either seat that way. With the 30 degree recline for an older infant I .think. the seat could stay all the way back. Maybe you could put your older child behind your husband & the baby behind you.

Thank you so much! WE went and checked out the Evenflo Triumph Advance at BRU and it fits perfectly! I think my son is going to be much happier in it instead of the infant carrier!

Hi, there! This thread is more than six years old, so it's likely the original poster won't see it to respond. You might have better luck starting a new thread of your own. If you do, make sure to include the ages and sizes of your kids and what seats they're currently in.

I'm gonna say...no. It's incredibly narrow, really the middle seat is just a sliver, and it's seatbelt comes from the sidewall (in the hatchback version, at least) which might also cause some installation issues.

But definitely start a new thread anyway, maybe we can help you find a good car at the right price that WILL work with three across.
