Marathon-when did child outgrow it?

I know the height limit on a Marathon is about 48 inches. I have read reviews from people who say their children outgrew it at 43 inches and 45 inches, so I was wondering what everyone's experience is. I know that kids can be proportioned differently, so I am wondering if anyone can tell me what height their kids were when they outgrew this seat. Was their height mostly in their torsos? Legs? or are they just normally proportioned? I also know the seat is relatively new, so perhaps people will not be able to answer this. Thank you very much for your help.

A child outgrowing this seat at 43" would be abnormally long in the torso...that would be a tall height to outgrow the Roundabout, though. Here's a picture of a rather large 5 yo who still just barely fits in the MA at 49" (the listed top height, in my manual) http://pages.ivillage.com/momika/carseatphotos/id24.html My 5.5 yo ds is 43 inches, and still at the second from the top slot (he IS rather leggy :). Here's another little boy, to give you more of an idea, as well http://www.geocities.com/protectwhatulove/Marathon.html

My son will be 5 years old this month. He's around 40 lb and 43" tall, and he's just barely above the middle slots on the Marathon. I'm sure he'll fit this seat for a couple more years.
