Smartmove broke

The locking rod that keeps the recline rf and ff locked keeps falling out of the car seat and the car seat keeps constantly sliding on the base,if this makes any sense at all.I was wondering if its time for a new car seat?Thank you Caitielynn

Definitely Time for a new seat!

This might even be worth a call to Century, and/or a defect report to the NHTSA.

From your description, it sounds like your carseat may be unsafe. I would definitely advise a new carseat as soon as possible.
