Infants feet that touch the seat

Is an infant too tall for an infant-seat if his feet touch the seat-back?

His head isn't close to the top of the carseat.
He's just go really long legs.

Hi,

It is not unsafe to have your child's feet touching the back of the seat. Many people worry that their child will break their legs in a crash. There are no documented cases of rf'ing children breaking their legs. Sadly though, there are countless cases of children seriously injuring their necks, spines, and heads from being ff'ing too early. In a crash, a rf'ing child's legs will fly up and back from the vehicle seat. This isn't uncomfortable for children either. They are not made like adults and are very comfortable. My son is 20 months old and quite happy to sitting "backwards."

Also, when we are involved in a crash, we as adults tense up and lock are arms and legs just prior to the crash. With an infant, the infant stays relaxed for they aren't aware of the impending crash so they are flexable during the crash with their legs bent.
