Britax Star riser versus Graco Turbo booster?

I need to replace my Century 1000 convertible car seat (secondary seat)...any one have any thoughts on which of the above seats is better? It seemed that the Graco had "body wings" too to hold a child while the back of the Britax seemed flatter...Thanks!

I think both are good choices-

It really comes down to personal preference, how well it fits and which one your child likes best:)

Sorry I don't have much more opinion to offer, I don't have much experience with either model. I do have a Star Riser base, though, and a nice feature is that the width is adjustable and quite narrow at the smallest setting.

I have both of these seats.....

I noticed the "body wings" too, but they don't seem to make much difference if any when the child is in the seat. Both seats are quite comfortable and my son likes them both. If you need the seat to be adjustable for different children on a daily basis, the Graco is MUCH easier to adjust the height on. the "src" isn't difficult, just not convenient on a daily basis. The src costs more, but from what I've heard moms with older kids say, it seems you get what you pay for. why? because the seat on the src is deeper and can support a larger kids legs much better than the Turbo, which has a narrower, shallower seat. However, you should be most concerned with what fits your child best NOW, so if you can try both seats and see which you like, then go with the one that suits your needs best. Julie PS, how much does your child weigh? It is often the safest option to keep a kid harnessed up to the full 40 pounds, and if he is well below that, you might want to consider a combination booster with the taller top harness slots, like the evenflo express or graco ultra cargo <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> .
