RodiFIX vs Rodi AP? Other 3 across HBB ideas?

Anyone know how they compare size wise? Mostly in width?
I love how I 'think' the RodiFIX with no arms will fit in a 3 across- but the pricetag has me.....

Looking despirately to complete my 3 across with HBB in an Aspen for almost 6 year old triplets. Anything really works outboard, but center between the rigid belt buckles there is only about 12 inches to work with. A Dreamtime fits- but the shoulder belt fit is poor. A V6 fits- but the seatbelt does not stay in the belt guide. An AMP is too wide. A Turbo is too wide. And I really don't want to get a Safe Rider Travel Vest. I really don't care about any features other than width & belt fit!

What about a backless in the center? Kiddo in the center has plenty of stuff on both sides reminding him/her how to sit. Put the least wiggly/impulsive kid there.

I have considered the LBB thing.... and given that we are new to boosters I'm not totally all about it. But if I don't find something else I may have to go that route.

Is there a reason the third row is out of the equation? I would be inclined to put one seat outboard in the second row and two seats outboard in the third row.

We will use the 3rd row on a regular basis- but we also need a 3 across option for several occasions. I think we will end up with 3 across frequently enough that I'm willing to pay for & want a good option for it.

There isn't much cargo room & we travel to in laws with our dog. The dog & bags will be in the folded down 3rd row. Or DH does a lot of DIY home projects & folds down the 3rd row to haul a lot- meaning again we need a 3 across option. These are just a few examples.

Yes, as stated above.

For our TIGHT 2 in a row we have a Topside in there (there isn't even room for my son to put shoulder belt under the armrest and in that seat, you don't). We also have a Dreamtime in there (only thing that fit)
Rodifix we returned. It fit BUT we could not latch it, so I didn't see the point. It's a heavier seat and I just wasn't comfortable with it unlatched.

And, the Harmony Youth booster (backless) is a lifesaver. It fit, too, and quite well. It can be the magic seat! My 7 was in that and then we found that the Dreamtime fit, so we use that. The belt fit in our vehicle is good.
