I contacted recaro and they want 75 for a new cover set. Does anyone have one they don't need? Claras looks like heck and the seams are coming apart.

well I told them it was coming apart she didn't seem to care.

Yay!! I've always been happy with their customer service, but I've always contacted them via email.
So the key is to send a picture of the seams ripping and the foam shredding? I contacted them via email and explained what was happening and they said to call. I called and all they asked was if I wanted to purchase the replacement. I'm not looking to replace it because I am bored and want something different. I'm good with the exact same one, just not falling apart from gentle cycle washes and hang drying. And I think it is ridiculous to charge that much when the seat is only half through it's life. At the very least they should have a discount for replacements for this reason. I was looking at a new Performance Sport for another child, but will go with a Britax Pioneer if this is how it is going to go down (and I'm not entirely sold on the Pioneer).
