rearended this a.m....

have 2 carseats but thankful only hubby was in the car. Iam supposed to replace their seats now??right???thanks

Generally, yes-

To be conservative, we say you should always replace carseats after a crash.

Some crashes are so minor that they cause no injuries or apparent damage to the vehicles. In these cases, it may not seem necessary to replace the seats, especially if no children were in them at the time. Parent's can make this choice, but are advised to contact the manufacturers of their carsats first.

I totally agree with Darren on his advise. One thing to keep in mind, even thou the seats were empty, the seats still have weight. It is always best to contact the manufactor and follow their advise.
