Uh oh. The CR-V also had the center belt coming from the roof, but I don't know where the buckle is that it buckles into! I will go look now since I was just on my way out for a late lunch! I will take a pic of it and post it so you can see. I hope it doesn't overlap like the Rav-4!

The ody's center belts come from the ceiling too but they buckle into side of the seat and don't interfere with the other belts or passengers... The spot is just where the belt would originate. I think they do it so the seat can be stowed or removed? Hopeful the CRV is the same.

It took me forever to figure out that the buckle for the small latch plate for the ceiling mounted belt was buried under the FR90! Ugh.

I don't recall it saying anything about not being able to have someone in the center and behind the driver when I was looking up the instructions for buckling the center belt. I will check it again when I go to lunch.

Are you and your DH going to try and look at the CR-V again? I still can't believe that dealership basically told you they were too busy and couldn't help you!
