outgrown the infant seat?
I have a four month old daughter who rides in a Graco SnugRide carseat. As I understand it, Graco recommends that a child outgrows her carseat when she has reached 20 pounds or 26 inches, whichever comes first. She weighs only 17 pounds but is already 26 inches long. However, when she is in her carseat, there is still about 2 inches between the top of her head and the hard plastic shell of the carseat. My question is this - since there is still enough room from her head to the top of the carseat, is she still safe to ride in the infant carrier, even though she has reached the height limit as determined by Graco? Thank you in advance for your responses.
