Yes it was a FPSVD :0) He was very close to outgrowing the MA, so I switched the boy's seats around so it gave him a small amount of more shoulder height.

Yes Meghan I do have that purple parkway pic of Nolan...and I'm using it for my misuse slides!

Oh my gosh, I am totally necro bumping this. I am laughing at how many Regents we all had!! The ones in this pic were replaced bc the van was totaled. You can see the glass is missing in the back. We replaced them with two more, and my ds is now NINE, and we just retired our last regent. #sniff

Does anyone still use theirs?

I learned this afternoon my giant dd outgrew her regent. She recently had a growth spurt in the last two weeks. She's 7 1/2 years old 65 lbs & to tall for the seat. Looks like my nephew has a new seat.

I was using one until a couple months ago. It's recently expired. So did the harness of our Nautilus. Now we have a Frontier 80 in use, soon to be relegated to back up and replaced by a Frontier 90. I need something other people can install. I can't do everything myself, as much as I want to!!

I just really miss Britax doing the beautiful, soft covers. Why on EARTH did they stop making them?!?!

We had Regents with cougar and blue bouquet covers, too. Both expired in 2012 alas but DD1 got lots of use out of them.

I heard because parents who lived in warmer climates didn't like how sweaty it was making their kids.

I definitely don't like Britax new covers. They remind me of a pair of overly starched jeans.

I agree. Miss the Regents and their cute, soft covers. I liked Madison, Shannon, Cougar, and I liked the Frontier 85s in Pink Sky and Cow. Our dog has spots like a cow so DD jokingly said she wanted to put the dog in a "Cow seat"

Another one who prefers the old Britax covers. They claim consumers didn't, but I have trouble believing them. I've bought some of the new covers due to lack of options for my tall kids and I do like the seats otherwise, but I find the cover selection very frustrating and I tell them so every chance I get.
