Tether for cosco scenera next?

Hi,
I will be using the cosco scenera next as a travel seat for my three year old. We will be installing rear facing. Am i suppose to use a tether for a rear face install?

One more question please.
My other kid will be traveling in the combi coccoro also rear facing. Does that need a tether?

No. You MAY tether the Coccoro rear facing if allowed by the car, but due to the effort involved in determining whether you can in a given vehicle and attaching the strap, I wouldn't when traveling.
