Is this an acceptable TF install?

DD is 27 months so I know I don't need a full 45 recline but does this look too upright? Thanks!

It does not look too upright for a child who is 27 month. However, it may be to upright per the instructions for the True Fit. We have been told you and have it betwen 35 and 45 degrees. I cannot tell if it is more upright than 35 degrees.

Can someone tell me if I am measuring the angle correctly? I tried using a protractor and if I measure the angle of the red line that is supposed to be level, I get 20 degrees. I am assuming that this means that the seat is only reclined 25 degrees (45-20). Am I correct? Thanks again!

I've been hmming and hawwing and can't say for sure. I don't think it's as upright as 25*, though I think it may be a teeny bit too upright. Worth reinstalling with a bit more pressure in the bum area when tightening - though I think it's such a small amount you don't need a pool noodle or rolled towel or anything.

I wouldn't trust the protractor 100% - as in if you're calculating it's around 33*, I wouldn't try and recline it more. No calculation is going to be perfect so I'm not going to ever split hairs over 33 vs. 35*. But I do think that it's a tiny bit too upright right now just looking at it. Not by a huge amount, but by a little. Lines in and of themselves are subject to a subjective evaluation - good guideline, but not precise. So I wouldn't fret over what the exact # is.

Thanks again for your help. I'm going to have DH try to install today to get a better recline. I love this seat by the way!
