Arm Rest in Toyota 1996 Camry

I am considering a Britax Roundabout Car Seat but am concerned regarding the armrest in my backseat, when using the car seat rear facing in the center of the backseat. Any feedback from others whether this is a valid concern or not?

Fold-down armrests are generally not a safety problem unless they are specifically mentioned in the owner's manual for the vehicle or carseat.

Some Evenflo and Ford models do state that the armrest position is not to be used with the carseat. Otherwise, it should not be a problem as long as the carseat is a good fit in that position.

Please check your manuals first, and if there is no mention, then you can certainly try an installation there.
