Do I need a new car for my childseat

I have a 1992 Mazda MX-3 and a Evenflo on my way seat with a base for the car. It doesen't seem to fit to well there is a lot of movement, It is as tight as possible. The car does not have a flat seat in the rear it's shaped to conform with an adults buttox. The centre of the rear seat is a hump without a belt so thats not an option. Please help!!

It sounds like you may have a compatibility problem. The only way to know for sure is for you to have a technician take a look at the vehicle and child seat. You can locate a fitting station or nearest technician at www.nhtsa.dot.gov.

I agree with Robert. A free check by a certified technician is probably the best choice. You can also call toll-free 1-866-SEAT-CHECK to locate a fitting station near you. Good luck!
