Hi all! I've had a Britax Frontier G1.1 Clicktight Harness-2-Booster Car Seat for my 4 year old daughter since last year. I am considering buying another for my 2 year old son. (I rear faced my daughter until 3 1/2 yo but my son is a lot more feisty and getting to be difficult to secure in the Diono.)
All the reviews I read say the Frontier is great, especially the Clighttight system, which of course does give a nice firm install. However, I have one reservation, which is that the harness adjuster is very difficult to pull tight. I like to adjust mine fairly often, either to allow for (light) outerwear or even just because my child is sitting slightly differently. Does anyone know if this difficulty is common or if I just got a dud? Any tips to make it easier?
Should I consider getting a different seat all together? I do like the firm install of this seat, and I also like the idea of the two seats we are going to use for a while matching (maybe silly, but it makes me happy). Thanks!
