TA weight limit?

Know the Lower anchors have a weight limit of 40lbs in a honda odyssey but does the top tether anchor also have a weight limit? I have my 48lb 5 1/2 year old in a FR85 installed with seatbelt and I'm using the TA as well, is this wrong?

Technically, it does, but the consensus among pretty much all the techs is to ignore the 40 pound limit for the tether only. Still use a seat belt install, not lower anchors, but attach the top tether. The risk vs benefit of the low probability of a tether failing when the seat is properly installed with a seat belt versus head excursion for an untethered seat - the benefit far outweighs the risk.

If you haven't heard her story- Ketchupqueen is a CPST here and was in a serious accident where two of her kids were in FF harnessed seats tethered over the 40 pound weight limit and they performed extraordinarily well, so that was more than enough to convince me.
