Question about EFTA top tether--pic

How did it get like this?

And is there any way to bend it back? I tried doing it with just my hand but I'm not too strong :whistle:

You may have better luck if you try to pull it to the side rather than straight down (or did you try that already?)

Yes I did. It didn't want to go sideways enough to slip under. :(
ETA: I'm sure I could get it with tools... but I'm wondering if using tools will compromise the integrity.

Ours did the exact same thing as well. Several times. DH had to fix it by using a set of pliers. He didnt bend it, but he pulled it to the side and managed to get it back under.

Im not sure how ours got like that either.

My Graco seat did that on the bottom latch strap dont know how it happened and I couldnt get it back in. :(
