Toyota tacoma installation
I'm trying to install a century accel carseat for a 2 year old in the back outboard of my extended cab toyota tacoma truck. The rachet clicks on the seat belt were such that I couldn't get the seat tight enough and it would slide around. I put a piece of approx. 1" thick minicell (a very firm high quality closed cell foam) behind the car seat and now the seat appears to be locked in place securely and does not slide around. The foam cannot get loose either. The car seat manual has no guidance other than it says it is permissible to put a car seat cover or similar under the baby seat. Is the use of the foam generally acceptable?
