Ranier Questions

I have a new Rainer and a few questions with it as it is slightly different than our Radian.

There was/is some foam type packaging under the head wings in the track. It isn't Styrofoam like my radian had but is rather like the sheets of foamy stuff that packages come wrapped in. Do I leave it in?

Any advice for ways to make it more comfortable with the big red strap in the middle of the back? It seems more prominent than in the radian. But it might just need to be squashed down with time to be the same.

The harness pads are different than my Radian. They still go above and below the chest clip but are much shorter. Are they interchangeable with the Radian harness pads? I have a few pairs of the bigger ones, just wondering if I could switch them around. The new ones are thick and foamy but don't actually go up on the neck since the are short. So, it seems they are just meant as cushion in a crash and not to prevent the straps from rubbing the neck.

Thanks.

Yup. Diono says not to remove any foam.

You tucked it in and it's stick poking out?

You'd have to call Diono on that, I don't know if they allow them to be switched around.
