Question Harmony 360 defender

We have it & 2 out of 3 kids love it. We have 3 yo triplets, 2 are 31lbs & one is 40lbs.
Install was ok. Didn't work in the spot I ideally wanted it, but we got it to work with our 3 across.
Putting it together wasn't too bad.
Love the narrowness. The no re-thread. The harness adjuster pulls easier than the Radian we hated. The width between neck straps is wide, which was good for us. Love that it has a cup holder.
The only negative for us is the short croch strap. Which is the only reason our 40lb boy doesn't like it. If it wasn't for the croch strap, I'd buy more of them.

That's what I've read too. My 4 year old is 35 lbs so he isn't chunky but we still need a winter coat sometimes. I was looking for the narrowness. I would just hate to buy it and it be uncomfortable

My 35ish pound 4 almost 5yo loves hers and has 3 of them now! (actually 4 because she has one at her dad's) I love it too, no problems with it so far. No real issues with the crotch strap either. Install was rock solid with latch or seatbelt. Seems very sturdy and safe. LOVE the no rethread harness! She loves the cupholder and the padding.

Have you tried calling Harmony to ask if they can send you a longer crotch strap?
I've heard of a few people calling and being promised a longer strap. I haven't yet heard whether the longer strap was longer enough to solve the problem.
I exchanged e-mails with them shortly after we bought it, & was told no they didn't have any at that time as this was how it was safety tested. I have not heard anything since then.

I would try calling them again and push for a longer crotch strap...I have heard of others getting them, but haven't dealt with this myself, so can't say for sure!

I have no idea where I saw it, but on some board or forum I saw a picture where someone had actually gotten a longer strap from harmony. I will keep trying to find it but idk where it is right now

Agreed and since we are not having an issue with the original strap being too short I am not bothering to request a longer one. Just thought I would share it since the discussion came up again today
