I was able to get some images of the new First Years C670 and C630 Convertible Seats. The 2010 First Years C670 convertible car seat will be offered in the following prints:
First Years C670 Pink Polka Dotty ( Pink Polka Dots on Chocolate ) First Years C670 Retro Geo Black ( Black / White ) First Years C670 Bionic Splash ( Black / Grey ) First Years C670 Retro Stripe Rails Brown There was also a new C630 Print ... C630 Black Aurora |

Thanks for the pictures!
I think of all the TFP covers, I like Pink Polka Dotty the best. And I'm not a huge fan of the brown/ pink (though it has grown on me).

Teh brown rails looks like it might have courdouroy look? Could be cool. I like the butterfly print that we saw on the 630 (at Wal-Mart was it?) better than I like the polka dot 670. I kind of wish they would have made that polka dot in black/blue or black/pink or black/green, just something different than brown/pink since they already have brown/pink on the butterfly cover.

Re: 2010 First Years C670 / C630 Seats
Thanks so much for getting those images up. That was super-nice of you.
![]() I can't say I'm thrilled with the new colors. I still prefer the cranberry--it was bright, gender-neutral, and it would have looked great in our red Sienna. Why are there no fun designs for boys? Oh well, I guess we'll have to adjust to what they're offering since the C670 seems to be the best choice for our tall, skinny guy. Amazon no longer seems to be offering the cranberry for backorder, so I believe that it is good and gone. |

Thanks for the pics! I like how the Geo Black one seems to match the base. It looks very coordinated. I was hoping for the green cover from the ABC show and/or something more thrilling for boys. But this is good because now I don't need to buy something other than my cranberry and I'm glad they have more choices for everyone else.

I'm glad there's something new, but I can't say I'm overly thrilled.
OT, but what exactly is the deal with the stock pics having the harness covers UNDER the chest clip???

I just noticed that the blurb for the True Fit Premiere makes it sound like you should turn the baby FF when you have to put the headrest on, so at 23 lbs.

Re: 2010 First Years C670 / C630 Seats
I like that they're going to have some more options, but I really don't like any of these covers any more than the ones already available. Why does the First Years put all the 'design' on the infant inserts? Once you take those out, you're left with a boring seat.
I have Misty Morning and all the pretty blue was gone when I took out the infant insert. The pink polka dot cover could be pretty, but once you take out the insert, you just have a brown seat with a tiny bit of pink. The seat is used much longer without the infant inserts than with, why don't they do something with the main part of the seat???
