Need 2 seats side by side in a tahoe

Mom has a 2004 Chevy Tahoe. She currently has a RA outboard, and a Peg infant seat center. Passener side seat is for 3rd row access. She needs 2 new seats that will fit there, both seats are expired.

Baby is 4 months, 16 pounds.
DS is 3yrs, 34ish pounds, FF (Mom won't RF him).

I was going to suggest the GN or Gen65 for DS, but what convertible will puzzle well with them? Or does DS need a RN?

Re: Need 2 seats side by side in a tahoe

It seems like just about any combo should work, I had a Regent and a MA side by side in a small SUV, but maybe that was a freak thing? I would imagine if you got an RN that would work with just about anything she could get for baby? Or she could get RN for baby and then a Nauti for DS, I would think the would work together, and the skinnier seat might be better in the middle to make it easier to flip the other seat up....

I have the Yukon XL (same thing, just longer) and I can fit about anything three across the middle row. I've had a GN outboard and MA center and they work fine together. And the passenger outboard seat still slides forward for third row access without any problems.

Do you think a GN or Gen65 will fit with a MR?

If a MR is comparable width-wise to a MA, then I know the GN would fit. Wish I had a MR, I'd check for you. I would think the arms of the GN would puzzle under the MR. Hopefully someone with this vehicle and seats will chime in.

Re: Need 2 seats side by side in a tahoe

I think almost anything will work. We have a subruban, so same space. I have had from drivers side: husky, bv, booster. With another 3 seats in the 3rd row. The 2nd row is wide and the bv and husky really don't even touch.

I will say, I don't like the scerena in the middle rf or ff. It falls to the crack or toward the flipped seat. So seats with a solid or narrow foot will work better.

Same here. I have a bench seat in my XL, and I keep the passenger part of it folded down for 3rd row access. She should be able to fit anything in those 2 spaces. Only issue I have found is if I need to put the folded seat up for use. I typically have to unbuckle the MA that is RF in the middle seat position to get that seat up without messing up my install, as you have to kind of slide it to the side, if that makes sense.
