Re: how do you edit a thread title??

I think you have to tell them here what you want changed. Or maybe PM a moderator?

Re: how do you edit a thread title??

The only way I've ever been able to edit a thread title is by asking a mod to do it. I just report my own thread and enter the request in the text box that comes up.

Re: how do you edit a thread title??

Yes, you would have to use the report post feature to have a thread title edited. Also, I believe it will only affect the first title in the thread, not any of the replies.

Here I edited this reply :)

Also, if you go to "Go Advanced" when editing you can edit the title there, which will only edit the title in your post or reply.

You can see I did that in this reply ^^

Re: how do you edit a thread title??

Since this was brought up, I have to say that this is very annoying. I hate that I can't change my own title! Especially when selling something - it would be so much faster if we could just change it to sold ourselves. Just my .

I agree
I wish we could edit the thread title when we "go advanced" It's so nice to be able to post "UPDATES" in it, and not have to bother a mod to do it for us.....

Re: how do you edit a thread title??

Unfortunately, I do not see any option to do this based on specific forums or usergroups. It appears to be a moderator only function, best I can tell.
