Who would you put up front?

We will be moving in a month or so. Until we move we will be story a lot of our stuff at my moms house. She currently lives about 4 hours away. I need to use as much cargo room in my suburban as I can and would like to fold the back seat and secure more boxes there.
I have a 9 year old in an evenflo right fit
8 year old Fisher Price safe embrace booster
5 year old Turbo booster
21 month old Britax Marathon.

I need to put one up front. I do not have a passenger side air bag. My truck is a 1996 GMC Suburban. Which one would you put up front? 9 year old in her booster or toddler in her Marathon?

I'm thinking you will have to put one of the booster kids up there because I'm betting there is not a lap/shoulder belt in the middle position on your backseat. In that case, it would make sense to put the largest child up front, I guess.

Another thing to think about is stowing the stuff safety while you are transporting it...what I'm getting at is that you don't want unsecured boxes to be able to slide forward and injure your 3 backseat passengers in a crash.

I agree. If all the booster kids had a lap/shoulder belt, then my vote would be for the 21 month old to be up front in the Marathon, rear-facing.

Oh drat you are correct I do not have a lap and shoulder belt in the middle. I am so used to the baby being there. Now I feel silly. Sorry.

As far as the cargo I plan to bungie cord it all down so it doesn't shift. I have a cargo net the I use daily with the stroller and other stuff in the trunk. I always anchor stuff down. Drives DH batty but I know it is safer.
