Evenflo Odyssey vs. Cosco Forerunner for tall baby
We have an 8 month old who is about 22 lbs. and tall for his age (95%ile). We would like him in the safest configuration possible for as long as possible, thus are interested in the Forerunner for rear facing to 35 lbs. BUT we have heard some difficulties with the Forerunner strap adjustsments (and here in New England the weather and clothing change often and we will need to make adjustments!). We are also concerned about his height causing him to outgrow the seat because we read that the top harness slot of most convertible seats should not be used rear-facing. We are considering the Odyssey because it also has good Consumer Reports ratings, sounds comfortable for the baby and easy to adjust, and has pretty tall harness slots (top two are 13.5" and 15.3"). We have a Chrysler Town & Country with LATCH ready captain seats. Any advice, please!! THANKS SO MUCH
