Backless vs. full back boosters

I'm still looking at boosters. I've gotten opinions all over the board on a good booster but am wondering, given your druthers, would you prefer a booster with a back or without and why?

Thanks.

If my child was seated in a center rear position, a backless booster would be fine. In an outside position, I'd prefer a high back model, preferably one with wide wings or side impact protection. Better yet, a 5-point harness with extended weight limits offers even better side impact protection.
