Help- Britax experts

I really want to order this seat for my DS. Yes, I like the fabric. However, I can't find it anywhere else and it's not on Britax's website. Anyone know how old this seat might be? Obviously, I don't want a DOM that is more than 6 months. Just wondering if anyone knew when this fabric came out. Thanks!

According to Albee, they say it's a 2009. Anyone else think this is accurate?

It probably is pretty accurate. The first I remember seeing it was late last fall. I do know that it came out after they switched the style wings and upped it to the 35# rf limit.

It should be a recent DOM. According to a Britax rep, the Aqua and Plum are using up the fabric from the discontinued Companion (which is why they've only ever been closeouts). It's a good price if it's the style you want.

I actually love that cover, but I had to talk myself out of it because the baby is not even due till April and will be in an SS1 for a year or more. So by the time he could use it the seat would be a year or more old. I still want it though.

I love, love that seat too! And I wouldn't hesitate to buy it for a girl either.

The DOM should be pretty recent. That seat only popped onto the albeebaby website sometime middle of last year, right? Definitely after the new headwings came out anyway and will have a 35 pound weight limit.

I've bought several seats in the past two years, on sale, from Albeebaby and each one was brand-spanking-new.

I've also heard from others that they've had the same experience with Albeebaby.

I bought that exact seat just two weeks ago! A steal for sure at $259!

It was manufactured Feb 12, 2009 and it arrived in early March.
