Roundabout and leg straps

I just purchased a Britax Roundabout and am having trouble with the strap. The lower straps lie across my daughter's thighs instead of her hips. Is this the correct position for them or should they go higher?

Low on the hips or high on the thighs is usually OK

It is hard to judge without seeing it in person, of course. If you are still concerned, the best thing to do is to contact a local technician for a free inspection. Please visit the "Free Carseat Inspection" link under the top banner to find one in your area.
