Advantage will not recline enough, now what?

Thanks again Caviller for your responses. They have been Very helpful. I was able to install my Britax Advantage rear facing tethered with ease. Great fit as far as I can tell. Does not budge!!

The problem is now that even in the recline position and using a noodle, it still sits up too straight. When my son falls asleep his head falls forward. I LOVE the adjustable headrest feature, but I think thats part of the problem. It doesn't allow his head to lean far back enough. I don't think It would be safe to use more than one noodle. What can I do?

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Some thoughts-

At 9 months, your son does not need to have the maximum 45 degree recline that is recommended for infants. In fact, less recline is a bit safer, even if a bit less comfortable when sleeping.

The best way to increase the recline with the Advantage is to pull even tighter on the rear-facing tether, assuming you have it tethered to something under the seat in front in the "Swedish" or "Toward the Front of the Vehicle" method.

We do sometimes duct tape 3 noodles together into a triangular shape to get more recline, but not usually with a Britax seat when the tether is used. Britax does not technically recommend the use of noodles, except to "fill in the gap" when the tether is used to get the necessary recline.

I hope this wasn't too confusing, please let me know if I can make it clearer:)
