My DD is almost 17 mths old but only weighs 20 lbs 2oz and dosent seem to want to gain anymore weight.Anyway should she be rf or is it ok to have her ff?I think shes about 32 in tall.She's in the Ultra Cargo now.Thanks

Rear-facing is safest, so I would turn her back rear-facing. Of course, you'll have to find a different seat, since the Ultra CarGo is a forward-facing only seat.

I'm concerned that she is so small and that's why I suggest that she rear-face again. Minimum requirements for forward-facing are age 1 AND 20 lbs. When it comes to the safety of our children, it's best to do more than just the minimum. You can find more information here: http://www.car-safety.org/rearface.html .
