Tether question

I just bought a Britax Roundabout with a tether. When I attach it from the top of the seat to the rear window anchor the strap gets in the way of the seat. Is there anyway to get my little girl in and out easier? With the tether in this position, I either have to put her over or under it, and it is almost impossible. How important is the tether in a rear facing seat? Thanks

Some options-

Rear-facing seats are inherently very safe if used properly, even without a tether. The tether on the Britax convertible and infant seats is a bonus, but the seat will still be safe without it.

There is another way to tether a rear-facing Britax convertible as specified in the manual. Basically, you run the tether strap down to a suitable anchor under the front seat. You may need to use the included accessory D-ring strap to do this. This website gives some additional details and photos:

There is more general information about tethering in our own guide to LATCH:

I hope that helps!
