A couple quick things that might help:
- Like previous posts: consistancy and routines (keep 'em short and simple: diaper, teeth, two books, lights out, bed, music on).
- Teach your daughter a few simple signs: help, more, all done, please, eat can all save your sanity.
- Look around your neighborhood, church, and friends. One of them is certain to have an 8-13 year old who's "baby crazy" and would love the chance to come play with your daughter (and learn about child care/babysitting) while you supervise from afar.
- Check into RESPITE child care. Many agencies and churches have "parents night out" evenings with trained providers and volunteers to care for children.
Good luck as you continue your studies.
